John Paul Schleicher, age 48, of West Bend, passed away on Saturday June 13, 2015 at St. Joseph's Hospital in the Town of Polk.
He was born on June 30, 1966 in Milwaukee to John and Mary (nee Semrad) Schleicher and was united in marriage to Erika Morrison on June 16, 2001 in Racine. Together they made their home in West Bend.
John Paul was employed as a plumber for several years at Albiero Plumbing in West Bend, and currently at Cliff Bergen Plumbing in Mequon.
John Paul volunteered much of his time and talent on Kingdom Hall projects. He loved working with his hands, especially wood working. Large projects or small, he excelled in all he did. He also enjoyed collecting all types of beer memorabilia.
John Paul is survived by his wife, Erika; three step-children, Steve (Laura) Morrison of Racine, Christopher (Irenia) Morrison of Racine, and Michael (Christina) Morrison of Sturtevant; 10 grandchildren; parents, John & Mary Schleicher of Hartford; three sisters, Schalon Schleicher, Misty (Chad) Schreiner, and Kim (Jeff) Robertson all of West Bend; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
A service of remembrance in honor of John will be held on Saturday June 20th at 3:30 pm at the Kingdom Hall (6823 Wildwood Rd) West Bend.
