John Scott, Jr., age 80, of West Bend, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2009 at Kathy Hospice in West Bend.
He was born on April 30, 1929 in Wisconsin Rapids to the late John and Theresa (nee Meier) Scott. John honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. On April 29, 1952, he was united in marriage to Ruth Busack in Waukegan, IL. John continued to honorably serve is country in the U.S. Navy. He went on to work as a postal carrier for the U.S. Postal Service until he retired at the age of 55.
John is survived by his son, William (Sharon) Villmow of West Bend; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Bernard Scott; three sisters, Audrey, Florence and Delores; other relatives and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruth; and son, Gerald Villmow.
At John's request, there will be no memorial service. Myrhum ~ Patten Funeral & Cremation Service is assisting the family.
