John J. Chiminatti, 78, formerly of Sheboygan, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2014, at Hope Health and Rehabilitation Center in Lomira.
He was born on May 23, 1936, in Sheboygan Falls, the son of the late John and Margaret (Kaeserman) Chiminatti. John served his country in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was a semi-truck driver for many years.
Survivors include three children, Barbara Benirschke, Gail Strean and Brian Chiminatti; his former wife, Gloria Chiminatti; seven grandchildren, Zachary Benirschke, Christa Jones, Ciarra Douglas, Michael Strean, Jason, Scott and Andreya Chiminatti, 11 great- grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by a son, Jack Chiminatti, a brother and two sisters.
There was no visitation or funeral service. Burial of John's cremains was in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove.
