Judith A. "Judy" Bellman

April 11, 1943 — December 14, 2014

Judith A. "Judy" Bellman, (nee Goldopski) age 71, of West Bend, passed away Sunday December 14, 2014 at the Fields of Washington County.

She was born on April 11, 1943 in Fond du Lac to the late Arthur and Virginia (nee Hilbert) Goldopski and graduated from Fond du Lac High School in the class of 1961.

On January 25, 1964 Judy was united in marriage to Louis "Sonny" Bellman III at St. Paul's Lutheran Church (German Village Rd. Town of West Bend). She worked for many years at the former Amity Company in West Bend, retiring in 1992. From 2000 until 2013 she resided in Oshkosh before moving back to West Bend.

Judy was best known for her baking and cooking skills. She also enjoyed sewing and embroidery. Her greatest asset was the ability to listen, guide, and help others in need.

Judy is survived by her loving daughter, Michelle (Christopher Jackson) Bellman of West Bend; a sister, Marlene (Bruce) Stanke of Fond du Lac; a brother, Dennis Goldopski of Fond du Lac; along with a cousin who was raised like a sister with Judy, Sandy Tyson of Oshkosh; Tammy, Brandon and Lucas Classey of West Bend; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Virginia; and her husband Sonny in 1995.

A memorial service in remembrance of Judy will be held on Thursday December 18th at 6:30 pm at the Myrhum - Patten Funeral Home (1315 W. Washington St.) West Bend. Rev. Kurt Schaser of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Newburg will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday at the Funeral Home from 4:00 pm until the time of service. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date in St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery in the Town of West Bend.

Memorials to the Washington County Humane Society are appreciated.
