Judith E. Busack

d. October 7, 2013

Judith E. "Judy" Busack of West Bend, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2013, at St. Joseph's Hospital in the town of Polk.

She was the daughter of the late Lester and Doris (Heuel) Farrow, and on August 7, 1982, she was united in marriage to John Busack in LaValle.

Judy was a children's librarian for many years in West Bend and retired from the Germantown Public Library. Judy also was a literacy advocate, author, playwright and storyteller. Judy had a passion for storytelling to both adults and children. She was often seen portraying "Mother Goose". Judy told stories at many school districts and events both locally and nationally. She was a member of the Wisconsin Storytellers Guild and St. Andrew Lutheran Church in the town of Farmington.

Judy loved her family, children and was an avid reader, sometimes reading several books in one day. She always carried a canvas bag filled with books. Judy had a wry sense of humor and will be deeply missed by her husband, her family and by all who knew her.

Those Judy leaves behind to cherish her memory include her husband, John; three children, Christopher (Carol Baranyk) Wenzel and Jennifer Wenzel both of West Bend and Gretchen (Gary) Kruszka of Kewaskum; three stepchildren, Franz (Annette) Busack of Fogelsville, Pennsylvania, Katherine (David) Christiansen of Morton Grove, Illinois and Sara (Larry) Joswiak of Crystal Lake, Illinois; a brother, Michael (Lynn) Farrow of Brookfield, 16 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two nieces, other relatives and many friends.
