Judith Louise Kohn

Judith “Judy” Louise Kohn (nee Abel), 82, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Kathy Hospice with her family by her side.

Judy was born on April 29, 1942, in West Bend to the late Henry and Gertrude (nee Weidman) Abel. Judy was confirmed at St. Lucas Lutheran Church in Kewaskum in 1956 and graduated from Kewaskum High School in 1960. Judy was united in marriage to Richard Mathew Kohn on August 14, 1965, at St. Lucas Lutheran Church. She worked at BC Ziegler Company for 7 years and was an instructional aide at Fair Park Elementary School for 26 years. She enjoyed walking, vacationing with family, sewing, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren. Judy was a member of Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church in West Bend.

Those left to cherish Judy’s memory include her husband of 59 years, Richard Kohn; two children, Scott (Kristin) Kohn of Livermore, California, and Amy (Doug) Endlich of West Bend; three grandchildren, Kyle Endlich, Mackenzie Endlich, and Beckett Kohn; sister, Jean (John) Kuhaupt; brother-in-law, Thomas (Gloria) Kohn; sisters-in-law, Konnie (Mark) Schoofs and Judy (Mario) Smalls; and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Judy is preceded in death by her brother-in-law Donald Kohn.

VISITATION: Judy’s family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church, 777 S. Indiana Ave, West Bend, WI.

FUNERAL SERVICE: A funeral service for Judy will follow visitation on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Paul Janke and Pastor Robert Hein officiating the service. Burial will take place at Washington County Memorial Park.

MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in honor of Judy to the Good Shepherd Evangelical Building Fund or The Kathy Hospice.
