Judith A. “Judy” Guenther (Wagner), 80, of the town of Scott, passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on December 19, 1940, in Cudahy, the daughter of the late Clifford and Florence Wagner, and on September 17, 1958, she was united in marriage to Eugene Guenther at Immanuel Lutheran Church in the town of Scott. Eugene passed away in 2013.
Throughout Judy’s life she worked for several employers, which included Serigraph, Brown’s Greenhouse, Fin N Feather and other employers waitressing.
Judy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, going to church weekly, spending time at the cabin up north, gardening, picking hickory nut meats, feeding & watching the birds, and the companionship of “Louie” the Pug. Judy will be deeply missed by her son, daughter-in-law, family, friends and all those that knew her.
Those Judy leaves behind to cherish her memory include Andrew (Jennifer) Guenther of Adell, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Eugene; Judy was preceded in death by two sons, John and Allan Guenther; two sisters, Arlene (Lester) Stern and Jan (Jim) Krueger; and “Louie” the Pug.
Funeral services for Judy will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 26, 2021, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in the town of Scott, with Pastor Brian Krueger officiating and burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Judy’s family will greet relatives and friends at the Church on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of services.
