Judith “Judy” R. Kraetsch (nee Jones), 77 of West Bend passed in peace on Tuesday, December 12, 2023.
She was born on July 18, 1946, to the late Thomas and Jeanne (nee Nowland) Jones. Judy grew up on the family farm in Sussex. She attended High School in Wauwatosa. Judy was a stay-at-home mom for many years before she worked in the service industry, eventually moving to Appleton. There she worked at a grocery store before working as a cook at George Webb’s. She loved gardening and painting. Judy especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be missed by all who knew her.
Those Judy leaves behind to cherish her memory include her daughter, Na-Dine (Jerry) Kramer; grandson, Anthony (Aly) Kramer; two great-grandchildren, Layla Kramer and Jeremy Hawkins; four sisters, Karen (Dwayne) Schied, Susan Sprifke, Marge Prater, and Laurie (Steve) Erdman; a brother, Dr. Jim “JT’ Jones; two brothers-in-law, Ken Brotzman and Eddie Gonzales; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her two sisters, Sandy Brotzman and Debbie Gonzales; and two brothers-in-law, Al Sprifke and Don Prater.
VISITATION: The family will greet relatives and friends on Monday, December 18, 2023, at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend, from 2:00 pm until 4:45 pm.
SERVICE: A Celebration of Life service in remembrance of Judy will be at the funeral home on Monday at 5:00 pm.
