June E. (Wehland) Matter

June E. Matter (nee Wehland) Matter, 91, of West bend found peace on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in West Bend.

She was born on June 15, 1927 to the late Christopher and Caroline (nee Resch) Wehland in Milwaukee Wisconsin. On April 2, 1945 she was united in marriage to Raymond Matter. In 1975 they moved to West Bend. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in West Bend. June loved the outdoors and her flowers. She was a fun loving cheer full person that was always willing to help others. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Those June leaves behind to cherish her memory include her two children, Judy (Russell) Robertson and Jeffrey Matter; two grandchildren, Christy (Patrick) Cain and Kari (Chris) Majewski; four great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Matter and her parents.

A funeral service in remembrance of June will be held on Friday, May 31, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at the Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend

The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
