June E. Kopping, 84, of West Bend, formerly of the town of Farmington, passed away in hospice care on Saturday, August 16, 2014, at Cedar Lake Health Care Center in the town of West Bend.
She was born on October 2, 1929, in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late Ernest and Loretta (Brennan) Morency, and on January 27, 1951, she was united in marriage to Eugene R. Kopping Sr. Eugene preceded June in death on April 9, 2009.
June was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in St. Michaels.
Those June leaves behind to cherish her memory include five children, Roberta (Paul) Clark of West Bend, Ernest Kopping of Campbellsport, Eugene (Chris) Kopping Jr., Michele (John) Theisen and Richard Kopping all of West Bend; a daughter-in-law, Sherrell Dean of Plymouth; a sister, Carol (George) Witczak of Milwaukee, 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, June was preceded in death by a son, David Kopping; two infant daughters; a great-granddaughter, Aaliyah Nicole Godfrey-Pennell and two sisters, Jeanne Morency and Alice (Jack) Willison.
A Mass of Christian Burial for June was held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at St. Michael Catholic Church in St. Michaels. Father Edwin Kornath officiated and burial was at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday in the parish cemetery.
The Kopping family greeted relatives and friends at the church on Wednesday from 3:30 p.m. until the time of Mass.
The Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum was entrusted with June's arrangements.
