Justin Keith Rady, age 34 years, of West Bend, entered Eternal Rest on Thursday, December 5, 2024.
Justin was born on March 29, 1990, in Waukegan, Illinois to Calvin Rady and Sandy Jeske. He was united in marriage to Bri Rady on August 4, 2024, and then again on October 4, 2024, because they had so much love for each other they had two wedding dates; the “10/4” was the “all clear”.
Justin graduated from West Bend West High School in 2008. He proudly served in the United States Army after he enlisted in 2013. Justin was a dedicated employee at Dodge Correctional Institution for the past five years.
Justin enjoyed playing Pokémon cards with his stepson, Brody, and just generally being around family. As a “girl dad”, he enjoyed getting his toenails painted by his stepdaughters, Briar and Blaire. Justin and Bri would play Lorcana cards all day long, which they both had fun doing. Justin appreciated the simplicity of being at home with his family, in their kingdom.
Sports, sports, and more sports were a big part of Justin’s life. He loved playing softball, attending Brewer games, playing basketball, going to the gym, and being outside in the summer – probably going to concerts, dancing, and driving his red Camaro and red Blazer (which he was very proud of) all around town, or to stores where he could shop and pick out matching outfits for the whole family (shockingly, not all outfits were red and black – but those were his “brand colors”). Justin was always sure to surprise Bri with flowers and candles any time he went.
Justin and Bri started working a day apart in the kitchen at the prison, in January 2022. It took a while for the sparks to ignite (which didn’t happen until November). But once they did, the two were off and running. It all started with Bri telling a dirty joke to their Sergeant, which Justin overheard, and he sent her an eye-catching email which started a relationship of “fast friends”, to then “fast soulmates” – it just took two weeks. Justin had to wait 2,134 days (five years) for his soulmate, Brianna, to be born. But, as the adage goes, ‘good things come to those who wait’…and boy, was it ever worth the wait.
Brianna brought three beautiful children into Justin’s life, and he took care of them and loved them as if they were his very own. Now, with heavy and sorrowful hearts, he leaves behind a FAMILY of LOYALTY to carry his memory: his wife, Bri; step-children, Brody, Briar, and Blaire; father, Calvin (Marie) Rady; mother, Sandy (Paul) Jeske; siblings, Ryan (Andrea), Brett (Jamie), Brandon, Candace (Greg), and Lilly; step-sisters, Amanda and Heather; mother-in-law, Melissa (Bill) Maasz; father-in-law, Troy (Christine) Schlesner; brother-in-law, Kody (Kate) Schlesner; and sister-in-law, Siarah Schlesner. He is further survived by his nieces, Juniper, Ryleigh, Adalynn, and Colbie; and so many other wonderful relatives and friends.
Justin was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ervin and Mary Rady; maternal grandparents, Janet Pope and Roger Packer; and Aunt Carla and Aunt Jody.
