Karen enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her son Randy, and had a special place in her heart for all of her great-grandbabies. She was a kind and gentle woman who will be remembered for her love of cats.
Karen is survived by her loving former husband, Bob Gulley of West Bend; her four children, Bob Gulley Jr. of Alexandria, VA, Karla (Barney) Tabat of Cudahy, Shelli (Bruce) Ellis of West Bend, and Randy Gulley of West Bend; eighteen grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren with one on the way; her mother, Myrna Peters; two brothers, Reg (Cindy) Thomas of West Bend and Greg (MaryAnne) Peters of Jackson; and many other relatives and friends.
In addition to her daughter Glenda, Karen was preceded in death by her father, Roy Thomas; and her grandson, Tony Gulley.
A joint memorial service in honor of Karen and her daughter will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 6:00 pm at Community Church (2005 S. Main St. West Bend, WI 53095) with Pastor Doug Jerred officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 3:00 pm until the time of service.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be greatly appreciated.
