Karen S. Kapp, nee Kemmer, age 62, of Hubertus passed away Monday, October 3, 2011 at Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls.
She was born on December 20, 1948 in Menomonee Falls to Adam and Bernice (nee Oblewski) Kemmer. Karen graduated from Menomonee Falls High School in the class of 1967. In 1978, she started driving bus for Johnson School Bus Company and enjoyed taking bus charters to many different events. She also worked part-time at the University Mobile station.
Karen enjoyed riding horses, going to rummage sales, and taking photographs.
She is survived by her three children, Renee (Barry) Wenzlaff of Allenton, Steve (Robin) Kapp of New Berlin, and Kevin (Becky) Kapp of Menomonee Falls; her mother, Bernice Kemmer; nine grandchildren, Morgan Wenzlaff, Brittany Wenzlaff, Caitlyn Carlson, Kayla Kapp, Brandon Kapp, Ellie Kapp, Adam Kapp, Elizabeth Kapp and Nathan Kapp; sister, Suzette Sass of Menomonee Falls; two brothers, Kenny Kemmer of Menomonee Falls and Gordy (Marty) Kemmer of Wautoma; other relatives and friends.
Karen was preceded in death by her father, Adam Kemmer.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 7th from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Myrhum - Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington Street, West Bend.
