Karen F. Theusch, 63, of the town of Farmington, passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2009, at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital in Wauwatosa.
She was born on April 5, 1946, in West Bend, the daughter of the late Alex and Vanelda (Herman) Krell, and on July 20, 1968, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Theusch at Holy Angels Catholic Church in West Bend.
Karen was employed by West Bend Mutual Insurance Company in West Bend for the past 17 years, and she was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in St. Michaels.
Karen will fondly be remembered an avid golfer, her love for her grandchildren and as one who enjoyed gardening. She will be deeply missed by her husband, her family and by all who knew her.
Those Karen leaves behind to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Kenneth; three children, Bruce (Erin) Theusch of the town of Farmington, Brenda (Anthony) Fleischman and Tracy (Daniel) McCarty both of Campbellsport; eight grandchildren, Leah, Anna and Alex Theusch, Nicholas and Noah Fleischman and Jacob, Mitchell and Megan McCarty; a brother, Ronald (Mary) Krell of West Bend; two sisters, Carole (Timothy) Coulter of Liberty, Missouri and Linda (Thomas) Gundrum of Reedsville; her mother-in-law, Bernadine Theusch of Kewaskum; four sisters-in-law, Linda Krell of Wisconsin, Phyllis (James) Schwartz and Mary Anne Theusch both of West Bend and Jane (Michael) Strobel of Kewaskum; a brother-in-law, Alan (Susan) Theusch of Waukesha, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael and John Krell and two brothers-in-law, Terry Theusch and Donald (Mary) Theusch.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Karen was held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 18, 2009, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 8881 Foretview Road, Kewaskum (St. Michaels). Father Edwin Kornath officiated and burial was at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday in the parish cemetery.
Relatives and friends called on Friday at the church from 3:00 p.m. until the time of Mass.
