Karl E. Kocher, age 81, of West Bend, passed away Tuesday April 8, 2008 at Aurora Medical Center, Hartford.
He was born in West Bend to the late Edward and Anna (nee Rosenthal) Kocher on August 23, 1926.
On June 21, 1952 Karl was united in marriage to Geraldine "Gerry" Mulvaney at Zion Lutheran Church in Woodville, WI.
Karl is survived by his wife, Gerry; a daughter, Kathy Ellen (Dennis) Shipman of Allen, TX; two granddaughters, Tracy and Sarah Shipman of Allen, TX; two sisters, Ruth Yoost, and Bernice Potter, both of West Bend; two nieces, Judy (Floyd) Buddenhagen of West Bend, and Ann (John Heule) Yoost-Brecke of Chestnut Hill, MA; a nephew, Thomas Potter of West Bend; two great-nieces, Amy (Timothy) Luft of West Bend, and Anna Brecke of Chestnut Hill, MA; three great-nephews, Timothy (Shelly) Buddenhagen of Huron, SD, Christopher Buddenhagen of West Bend, and Matthew Brecke of Chestnut Hill, MA; Karl also leaves, Jordan, TyAnn, Tenley, Hope, Paige, and Ella; other relatives and friends.
Private family services were held on Friday April 18, 2008. Rev. George Mumm of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church officiated. Memorials to St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, St. John's School, the Washington County Humane Society, or the charity of your choice are appreciated.
