Katherine "Kathy" Ramsthal

Katherine Marie "Kathy" Ramsthal, 76, of West Bend, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 8, 2019.

She was born on June 23, 1942 to the late Alfred and Elsie (nee Burck) Ramsthal in West Bend.

Kathy overcame many obstacles and lived a fulfilling life.  She graduated from high school in West Bend and worked at Serigraph for over 20 years.  Kathy loved to visit Florida and watch the Dodgers in spring training.  She also enjoyed the outdoors, swimming, and watching the Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers.   We will always remember her for her fighting spirit, love of life and tenacious determination.   Kathy will be missed by all who knew her.

Those Kathy leaves behind to cherish her memory include her niece, Beth Ann Ramsthal; her nephew, Robert Ramsthal; and her extended family and caregivers, Pat and Dale Poch.

In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her brother, James (Sandra) Ramsthal.

In honor of the family’s wishes a visitation will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home (1315 W Washington St. – West Bend, WI).

Memorial service will be held on Saturday at 1:30 pm.  Memorials to Washington County Humane Society.

The family would like to thank Serenity Hospice for the wonderful care that Kathy received and to her caregiver and friend, Trish Schoofs for all of her loving and supportive care over the years.
