Kathleen M. Buck (nee James), of Fond du Lac, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her bed side in the comfort of her own home at the age of 58.
Kathy was born on March 11, 1956 in Antigo, WI to the late LeRoy and Joan (nee Bamke) James. She was raised in Milwaukee and resided in the West Bend and Kewaskum area for the past 15 years. She was married to Al Buck and together they had three children. She was later engaged to Harold Howard for many years. Kathy was employed as a lathe welder for Accord / Myers Manufacturing in Jackson. She enjoyed crocheting, camping, and watching wrestling with her grandchildren. Kathy was a wonderful Nana to all of her grandchildren and would spend any free time she had with them.
Kathy is survived by four children, Christie Buck, Jessica (Michael) Higgins, Jennifer (Michael) Hein, and Chad (Lori) Howard; 13 grandchildren, Bianca, Kassandra, Jonathan, Morgan, Emily, Carley, Andrew, Michael, Samantha, Celenna, Austin, Eric, and Christina; one great-grandchild, Evalese and another on the way; three sisters, Lois Kramraj, Cheri (Randy) Kroening, and Lisa (Lawrence) Mueller; three brothers, Jeff (Mila) James, Richard James, and Kevin James; a brother-in-law, Jim Scarpaci; two God children, Mark James and Sierra Kroening; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy and Joan; two sisters, Linda Scarpaci and Mary "Peggy" Wojculis; and two brothers, Michael and Mark James. She was further preceded in death by aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
A funeral service in remembrance of Kathy will be held on Friday, December 5, 2014 at 6:00 pm at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home (1315 W. Washington St. West Bend). Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 3:00 pm until the time of service at 6:00 pm.
