Kathleen “Kay” Friedrich, 90, of Brownsville, passed away on Friday, March 5, 2010, at St. Francis Home in Fond du Lac.
She was born on January 2, 1920, in San Francisco, California, the daughter of the late Earl and Peggy (Noe) Pearce. On September 20, 1944, she was united in marriage to Dr. Leland Friedrich in Lomira, and Kay was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Lomira.
Kay loved to play golf and was the founder of the Ladies Golf League at Camelot Country Club. Kay will fondly be remembered for the enjoyment she received from sewing clothing and her love to draw.
Those Kay leaves behind to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 65 years, Dr. Leland Friedrich; two daughters, Vicki Peterson of Oregon, Wisconsin and Jaclyn (David) Lemen of Indianapolis, Indiana, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Cremation took place. A Memorial Service for Kay was held on Sunday, March 14, 2010, at 3:00 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 300 Church Street in Lomira. Rev. John Hobbins officiated and burial of her cremains was in Salem Cemetery in Lomira.
Kay’s family received visitors on Sunday at the church from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services at 3:00 p.m.
