Kathleen "Kathy" Glisch, nee Orlinski, 68, of West Bend, found peace Friday, May 9, 2014 at her home.
She was born on October 14, 1945 in Milwaukee to the late William and Josephine (nee Jaroszewski) Orlinski. Kathleen grew up in Milwaukee and graduated from South Division High School. She worked many different jobs through the years, and while working at a grocery store she met John Glisch. On January 4, 1975 they were united in marriage in Milwaukee.
She was a very strong willed person and devoted mother. She was a care giver for children in her home and enjoyed having children around. For 20 years she volunteered at the Moose Lodge in West Bend, providing joy for all the guests for the Easter dinner with all of her creations. She cherished and adored all of her grandchildren and spending time with them.
She is survived by her husband, John; three children, Deborah (John) Lukovich of Whitefish Bay, Chris (Bart) Schindler of Mequon and Michele (Dave) Tremblay of Atlanta, GA.; five grandchildren, Rachel and William Price, Samantha Schindler, Olivia and Harper Tremblay; three sisters, Patricia Howard, Sue (David) Lundberg, and Cindy (David) Korpal, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Josephine; her sister, Connie Schweda; and her two brothers, Eugene and Ken Orlinski.
Private family memorial will be held at a later date.
