Kathleen M. Sackett, nee Mueller, 68 of Newburg, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2012 at her residence.
She was born October 23, 1944 in Milwaukee to the late Herbert and Alice (nee Heilman) Mueller. She graduated from Kewaskum High School in 1962. On August 14, 1965 she was united in marriage to William R. Sackett in Port Washington.
Kathleen was the owner of Quality Cleaning Service for 30 years, retiring in April 2012. She was a member of the Newburg Lioness Club, holding various offices. She loved to travel and also loved working in her flower beds.
She is survived by her husband, William; two sons, Timothy (Kelly) Sackett of Germantown, and Mark Sackett of Saukville; three grandchildren, Taylor Sackett, Colin Sackett, and Payton Sackett, all of Germantown; 11 siblings, Daniel (Diane) Mueller of Maribel, Wayne Mueller of Waukesha, Judy Reinert of Iola, Bonnie Ihlenfeld of West Bend, Pat (Jim) Hamilton of Hartford, Jenny (Phil) Hutchison of Onondoga, MI, Herbert (Charlotte) Mueller of Hartford, Alice (friend Steve) Schatz of Neosho, Stuart (Beth) Mueller of Hartford, Joan (John) Lulich of Allenton, and Jean (Barry) Lawson of Hazel Green, KY; a sister-in-law, Diane (Dennis) Jung of Port Washington; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Alice Mueller, and parents-in-law, Russell and Edna Sackett.
Funeral services in remembrance of Kathleen will be held on Wednesday, October 31 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Newburg with Rev. Jon Baumann officiating. Visitation will be at the Myrhum - Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend, on Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and also at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Cremation will follow and Kathleen's cremated remains will be buried in St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Newburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Newburg, are appreciated.
