Kathleen Ann Shores

Kathleen Sweeney Shores, 57 of Glendale and Menomonee Falls, WI passed away peacefully on 3/13/25. She was a cherished daughter, sister, mother, and friend whose courage, kindness and strength touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

Kathleen grew up in the small town of Holy Cross IA, daughter of Edgar and Helen Sweeney surrounded by her many brothers and sisters. After high school Kathleen headed to college in WI and remained there her enter life. She worked many years in retail and ultimately started her most rewarding career as a mother to her incredible sons Hunter and Sterling.

As a transplant recipient, heart and kidney, Kathleen embraced every day as a gift, showing appreciation for the second chance at life she received. Her journey was an inspiration to many and she was a passionate advocate for organ donation, always encouraging others to give the gift of life.

She is survived by sons Hunter Shores and Sterling Shores, soulmate Michael Migliano. Siblings Roger (Donna), Terry (Maryann), Sheila (John), Sharon (John), Tim (Linda), Mary Jean, Jan (Cindy), Colleen (Don), Pat (Stacy) and Lisa (Scott), along with many nieces and nephews and extended family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Helen Sweeney, grandparents and stepfather Clete Osterhaus.

A celebration of life will be held on June 7, 2025 at 12 pm noon in Menomonee Falls at Davians Event Center. Memorials in Kathleen’s memory can be directed to the American Heart Association. The family would like to express their appreciation to some of the wonderful nurses, respiratory therapists, hospital staff and doctors at Froedtert Hospital for the many years of love, care and support they gave to Kathleen.
