Kathryne "Kay" Altschwager, nee Weber, 90, of West Bend, passed away Friday, August 8, 2014 at the Cottages at Cedar Run in West Bend.
She was born on November 4, 1923 in Butler, WI to the late George and Viola (nee Gurschwitz) Weber. She was united in marriage to Bill Altschwager on June 14, 1947 in Milwaukee. In 1968 the couple moved to Connecticut where they lived until 2005 when they moved to Cedar Ridge in West Bend.
She is survived by her husband, Bill; three children, Mark (Debbie) Altschwager of Canton, CT, Carl (Nancy) Altschwager of Amarillo, TX, and Gail Altschwager of Gramby, CT; two grandchildren, Bethany Anne Altschwager and Michael Altschwager; a sister, Rosemary Rutz of West Bend; a brother-in-law, Rodney Altschwager of Waukesha; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Gloria Gebhart.
A memorial service in remembrance of Kay will be held on Friday, August 29 at 11:00 a.m. in the Grand Hall on the second floor at Cedar Ridge. A reception will follow the service.
