Kathye Ann (Coughlin) Wierman

Kathye A. Wierman, 80, of West Bend found peace on Friday, May 10, 2024, at Serenity Villa in Slinger.

She was born on October 11, 1943, to the late William and Joyce (nee Wiskirchen) Coughlin in West Bend, WI. Kathye was a lifelong resident of West Bend. She graduated from West Bend High School, she went on to graduate from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh and received her bachelor’s degree, then master’s in education. Kathye worked as a teacher for over 35 years in the West Bend School District until retirement. One of her passions was coaching the West Bend West forensics team that was always very competitive and won many awards. She was a member of Hon E Kor Golf Course. Kathye enjoyed baking, gardening, and golfing. She was a sports enthusiast, enjoying watching the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers. Kathye especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be missed by all who knew her.

Those Kathye leaves behind to cherish her memory include her husband Mike, two children, Matthew Wierman and Michelle (Nate) Blevins; three grandchildren, Mikalya, Frankie, and Will Blevins; a sister, Joan (Bill) Russell; stepsister, Diane (Jim) Michels and stepbrother Greg (Avis) Simons; as well as many other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
