Keith R. Oesterreich, age 80, was at peace with the Lord on Saturday, February 28, 2015 when Jesus took him home while surrounded by his loving family at the Kathy Hospice.
Keith was born on September 5, 1934 in Ashland, WI to the late Oswald "Pete" and Betty (nee Storck) Oesterreich. He graduated from Ashland High School before serving two years in the United States Army. On August 24, 1957 he was united in marriage to Carole Eve at Zion Lutheran Church in Ashland. Keith enjoyed a long career at Simplex Time Recorder where he worked for 40 years. He was a long time member of Pilgrim Ev. Lutheran Church in West Bend and was an avid hunter, fisherman, trapper, and bear guide. Keith loved his family and always enjoyed spending time with them.
Keith is survived by his wife, Carole; three daughters, Kathy (George) Muth of West Bend, Karen (Timothy) Kelley of Fond du Lac, and Janice (Daniel) Lubner of Campbellsport; 15 grandchildren, Peter, Kevin (Katie), Jennifer (fiancAC.e Evan), Amie (Josef), Betsy, Heidi, Molly, Clark, Keith, Ross, Adrianna, Olivia, Grant, Isaiah, and Noah; a great-grandson, Gus; a great-granddaughter due in July; a brother, Kurt (Carol) Oesterreich of Ashland; a brother-in-law, William (Pat) Eve of Milwaukee; and many other close relatives and dear friends.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Kent; and a nephew, Kent.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 5:30 pm at Pilgrim Ev. Lutheran Church (462 Meadowbrook Dr. West Bend). Visitation will be at the church on Wednesday from 3:30 pm until the time of service at 5:30 pm. A private burial will be in Washington County Memorial Park.
