Kurstin M. Reeves, age 15, of West Bend, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2009.
She was born on January 29, 1994 in Milwaukee to Bobbi Jo Brent and Ernest Reeves III. Kurstin was currently a sophomore at West Bend West High School.
There are not enough words to describe her. Kurstin was pure hearted, kind and loved helping people. Her desire to care for people led her to her dream of being a doctor. Kurstin supported peace and felt soldiers were her heroes. She enjoyed singing and music. Kurstin was very artistic and was an avid poetry writer. She enjoyed traveling, loved pets, and was known to rescue animals. Kurstin was a thrill seeker and dare devil who enjoyed riding on roller coasters.
She is survived by her mother, Bobbi Jo Brent; her father, Ernest (Tiana) Reeves, III; her two sisters, Faith Catlyn Reeves and Celayne Byrd-Reeves; her brother, Cadin Reeves; godmother, Susie Mesoloras; boyfriend, Brandon Weickert; many other dear relatives and close friends.
Kurstin is preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Catherine Hoyt.
A memorial service in remembrance of Kurstin will be held on Saturday, November 21st at 3:00 p.m. at the Myrhum~Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington Street, West Bend with Pastor Dale Smalley officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service. Whether you knew Kurstin for many years or were just getting to know her, everyone is invited to attend.
In Kurstin's honor, please wear her favorite colors, either purple or blue on Saturday.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the first responders, EMS, hospital ER staff, and Detective Clausing of Washington County for all they help and special care with Kurstin.
