Kyle Robert Marquardt

October 30, 1988 — September 8, 2004

Kyle R. Marquardt, 15, of Batavia, died instantly and painlessly at the scene an auto accident on Wed. Sept. 8, 2004.

Called "Kyle Bob" by his mother, he was born on Oct. 30, 1988 in Menomonee Falls to Timothy and Lynda (nee Philipp) Marquardt.

He was currently a student at Random Lake High School where he played both offensive and defensive end on the football team. He was very involved with his church youth group and helped restore a lighthouse with the youth group.

He loved the outdoors and loved hunting and fishing, especially with his brother. He also enjoyed being with his buddies, kidding around, jumping on the trampoline and playing soccer. He was also always willing to help people with yard work.

He is survived by his parents, a brother, T.J. "Tim" Marquardt; his grandparents, Ralph and Christine Philipp of Phoenix, AZ, and Robert (Jean) Marquardt of Brown Deer; six aunts, Kathy James of Chicago, Barb "Bubs" Marston of Reedsburg, Joanne (Perry) Schroedl of Phoenix, AZ, Mary Philipp of Corpus Christi, TX, Nancy (D.J.) Jacques of Caledonia, Shirley Taylor of Denver, CO; six uncles, Michael Philipp of Milwaukee, David (Bobbi) Philipp of Stevens Point, Robert Marquardt of Merton, Bill (Karen) Marquardt of Las Vegas, NV, Steve (Linda) Marquardt of Menomonee Falls, and Jim Marquardt of Merton; other relatives and friends. He is also survived by his dog, Cally, who he was training for hunting, his other dogs, Angel, Ponche, Chaos, a chicken, Peeps, and Ed the rooster that is always crowing.

Funeral services will be held on Sat. Sept. 11 at 8:00 p.m. at Zion Methodist Church in Batavia and cremation will follow. Visitation will be at the church on Sat. from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service.

Kyle will live on through his gift of organ and tissue donation.
