Larry J. Hellpap

Larry Hellpap, 66, of West Bend, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 surrounded by his family.

Larry Hellpap was born on November 28, 1955 in West Bend, to the late Lawrence and Adeline (nee Rosin) Hellpap. He graduated from West Bend West High School in 1974. Larry was united in marriage to Teresa Pfotenhauer on August 26, 1978.  His greatest hobby was spent fishing on the lake in his boat. Larry would spend time golfing with family and friends. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Larry also enjoyed talking to any and every one about sports ranging from the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Bucks, and Milwaukee Brewers.

Those left to cherish Larry’s memory include his wife, Teresa Pfotenhauer-Hellpap; three children, Steven Hellpap, Richelle (Dan) Watson, and Katelyn (Samuel) Nisler; two grandchildren, Leah Watson and Oliver Nisler; four sisters, Wanda (David) Bittner, Diane (Jeff) Walters, Bonnie (Jim) Propson, and Betty Hellpap; one brother, Gordon (Barbara) Hellpap; Father-in-law, Don Pfotenhauer; five brothers-in-law, Steve (Teri) Pfotenhauer, Tom Pfotenhauer, Joseph (Robin) Pfotenhauer, John (JoAnn) Pfotenhauer, and Richard Pfotenhauer; two sisters-in-law, Beverly (Myron) Krewald and Linda Pfotenhauer-Zarling; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his daughter Holly Hellpap; sister, Donna Quartuccio; Mother-in-law, Nancy Pfotenhauer.

VISITATION: Larry’s family will greet relatives and friends at Myrhum-Patten Funeral and Cremation Service, 1315 W. Washington Street, in West Bend, on Monday, September 5, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

SERVICE: A service for Larry will be held at 5:00 p.m on Monday at the funeral home in West Bend with Father Howard from Holy Angels Catholic Church officiating.

A private burial will take place at a later date.
