Lavern L. Schmidbauer, 86, of Pewaukee, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at Angels Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc.
She was born on July 31, 1922, in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late Edward and Martha (Poppel) Nell, and on June 5, 1942, she was united in marriage to Donald Schmidbauer. Her husband preceded her in death in June 1976.
Survivors include two children, Larry (Kathryn) Schmidbauer of Casa Grande, Arizona and Donna Stopar of Kewaskum; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Lavern was preceded in death by three sisters.
Funeral services for Lavern were held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 6, 2009, at Wisconsin Memorial Park Family Center, 13235 W. Capitol Drive in Brookfield and burial followed.
Relatives and friends called at the Family Center on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
