Laverna R. Holl, 96, of Kewaskum, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2011, at Ivy Manor in Campbellsport.
She was born on November 17, 1915, in Dodge County, the daughter of the late Albert and Lydia (Moser) Greiner, and on May 17, 1937, she was united in marriage to Raymond Holl at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Theresa. Raymond preceded Laverna in death in 2000.
Laverna enjoyed gardening, being outdoors and spending time with her family.
Those Laverna leaves behind to cherish her memory include three children, Lawrence (Kathy) Holl of Princeton, Leo (Becky) Holl of Brownsville and Lucille (Ronald) Zettler of Glenbeulah; 11 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Laverna was preceded in death by two sons, Eugene and Roman Holl; a grandson, Steven E. Holl and a brother, Howard Greiner.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Laverna was held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 13, 2011, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 331 Main Street in Kewaskum. Father Edwin Kornath officiated and burial followed in Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery in Manawa.
Relatives and friends called at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
The Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum was entrusted with Laverna’s arrangements.
