LaVerne M. “Tudy” Becker, 86, of Kewaskum, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2010, at the Samaritan Health Center in West Bend.
She was born on November 2, 1923, in Kewaskum, the daughter of the late Albert and Mathilda (Wehling) Terlinden, and on July 15, 1951, she was united in marriage to Henry “Hank” Becker at St. John Lutheran Church in New Fane. Hank preceded Tudy in death on August 22, 2003.
Tudy was a member of St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kewaskum.
Those Tudy leaves behind to cherish her memory include her daughter, Judith “Judy” Becker of Brookfield; her stepdaughter, Gladys “Buffy” Seefeldt of West Bend; four step-grandsons, Richard, Terry, Scott and Mark Glamann; four step-great-grandchildren, Brittany (Vito) Lanzone, Jonathan Glamann, Nicole (Marquis) Rosenburg and Brandon Glamann; three step-great-great-grandchildren, Jonathan Glamann Jr., Joshua and Jasmin Rosenburg, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Tudy was preceded in death by her son, James “Jim” Becker; her brother, Sylvester “Tiny” Terlinden; her sister, Ione Terlinden; her step-son-in-law, Merlin Seefeldt and her grandson, Brian.
Funeral services for Tudy were held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 19, 2010, at St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1417 Parkview Drive in Kewaskum. Rev. Timothy Henning officiated and entombment in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum in Fond du Lac followed the service.
Relatives and friends called at the church on Friday from noon until the time of services.
