Lawrence Larson died peacefully at his home in Germantown on Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009. Larry was born in Milwaukee, WI, on March 24, 1926, the only child of Katherine and Gustav Larson. He proudly served aboard the USS Mona Island in WWII. The majority of his life's career was spent working for Mardi's Antiques perfecting the craft of handling and refinishing furniture. He is survived by 8 loving step children, Martha, David, Sarah, Katie, Elizabeth, John, Tom, Larry and their spouses, children, and grandchildren. The family would like to thank all of the Drs, nurses and caregivers who have taken excellent care of Larry during these past several years. A memorial service will be held on Sat. Jan. 24, 2009 at Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend, WI. Visitation for friends and family: 2 - 3:30 PM, followed by a short service and eulogy. In Lieu of flowers, any donations would be greatly appreciated to help with service costs.
