Lawrence "Larry" Richter

Lawrence “Larry” Richter, age 78 years, of West Bend was called home to be with the Lord on March 10, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Larry was born on January 19, 1944 in Milwaukee, WI to the late Leonard and Leona Richter (nee Frankwick). He was united in marriage to Cheryl (nee Wingad) on June 17, 1967.

Larry was in the Army National Guard of Wisconsin from 1965-1971. He worked at Wisconsin Color Press as a Pressman from 1965 until 2002. He was a member of the Milwaukee Printing Pressman’s Union Local #7.

His hobbies included going up north, fishing, hunting, camping, traveling, snowmobiling and ATVing. Larry and Cheryl were snowbirds in Florida from 2010 until 2018. They decided to come back to Wisconsin because they missed their families around the Holiday seasons. Larry’s greatest traits were his sense of humor, love for his family and the Green Bay Packers.

Those Larry leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife of 54 years, Cheryl, one child, Nicole (Steve) Grinwald. He is further survived by four sisters, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Memorial service will be held on Friday, March 18, 2022 at 5:00 pm at Myrhum-Patten Funeral and Cremation Service, 1315 W. Washington Street, West Bend, WI 53095.

The family will greet relatives and friends Friday at the funeral home from 3:00 pm until the time of service at 5:00pm. Memorials to Holy Angels Church, 138 N 8th Ave, West Bend, WI 53095.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Kraemer Cancer Center for their care and kindness. Also the staff at Horizon Home Care & Hospice for their care and compassion.
