Lee M. Walczak, 19, of Allenton, died Wed. July 28, 2004 due to injuries in an auto accident. He was born on Feb. 28, 1985 in Denver, Colorado to Michael and Jeanne (nee McGrath) Walczak. He graduated from Slinger High School in 2003. After high school he joined the U.S. Army Reserves and was a heavy equipment operator with the 961st HSC Engineering Battalion. He enjoyed Tae Kwon Do and had earned a Black Belt. He also enjoyed music and spending time with his friends. He is survived by his parents, Michael and Jeanne Walczak of Allenton; 2 brothers, Matt of Winter Springs, FL, and Ben of Philadelphia, PA; his maternal grandmother, Ruth McGrath of Watertown, NY; his paternal grandfather, Richard Walczak of Slinger; 3 aunts, Karen Wald of Slinger, Janet Unke of St. Francis, and Ellen (Art) Jeffers of Three Mile Bay, NY; 4 uncles, Jon (Lisa) Walczak of Kewaskum, Douglas Walczak of Red Granite, Robert McGrath of San Francisco, CA, and David McGrath of Alexandria, VA; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Kingsley McGrath; and his paternal grandmother, Betty Walczak. Funeral services will be held on Sun. Aug. 1 at 1:30 p.m. at Myrhum - Patten Funeral & Cremation Service, West Bend, with Lee's uncle, Rev. Robert McGrath, officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sun. from 12:00 Noon until the time of services. Cremation will follow the services. Memorials to the American Cancer Society are appreciated.
