Leona H. Erdmann, 93, of West Bend, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2010, at Kettle Moraine Gardens in Kewaskum.
She was born on January 6, 1917, in the town of Addison, the daughter of the late Max and Anna (Schreier) Hoepner, and on February 11, 1935, she was united in marriage to Lloyd Erdmann at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Theresa. Lloyd preceded Leona in death on July 26, 1982.
Leona was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in West Bend. She was employed by the West Bend Company for many years and later by Walgreen’s in West Bend.
Those Leona leaves behind to cherish her memory include nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Leona was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth (Roger) Kuehl and Alma (Peter) Schmitt and a brother, Ewald (Linda) Hoepner.
Funeral services for Leona were held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 13, 2010, at the Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum. Rev. Richard Lauersdorf officiated and entombment followed at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum in Fond du Lac.
Relatives and friends called at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
