LeRoy E. Martin, age 67, of the Town of Wayne, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 4, 2013.
He was born on December 26, 1945 on the family homestead in the Town of Wayne to the late Edward and Martha (nee Young) Martin. LeRoy farmed in the Town of Wayne until retiring in 1990 when he began delivering the Milwaukee Journal and the West Bend Post.
Leroy is survived by two sisters, Marion (Robert) Dieringer of Tigerton and Ethel Martin of Kewaskum; one brother, Winston (Geri) Martin of Kewaskum; his step-brother, Norman Martin of Kewaskum; sister-in-law, Marilyn Martin of Kewaskum; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lois Kutz; brother, Lyle Martin; and step-brother, Wallace Martin.
A funeral service in remembrance of LeRoy will be held on Wednesday, May 8th at 1:30 pm at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington Street, West Bend. Rev. David Nothem of First Baptist Church in Campbellsport will officiate. Burial will follow in Washington County Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 am until the time of the service.
