LeRoy Muench, age 67, of Beechwood, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2006 at his home.
He was born on March 28, 1939 in Sheboygan County, the son of the late Milton and Elsie (Gatzke) Muench, and on May 22, 1965, he was united in marriage to Hollis Kohl at St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kewaskum.
LeRoy was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in the town of Scott, where he served as a Sunday school teacher for many years and was a past church secretary. He proudly served as a volunteer on the Beechwood Fire Department for 49 years and was president of the department for six years.
LeRoy was a member of the Kettle Moraine Dartball Club, was a foreman at Harnischfeger Homes in Port Washington and was also a milk hauler. He will be deeply missed by his wife, his family and many friends.
Survivors include his loving wife, Hollis; four children, Mark Muench of Beechwood, Tammy (Troy) Stucke of Plymouth, Diana Arians of Lancaster and Matthew (Julie) Muench of West Bend; six grandchildren, Nicholas, Hannah, Zachary and Nathaniel Stucke, McKenna and Ryder Arians; three brothers, Vernon (Donna) Muench of Fond du Lac, Eugene (Norma) Muench of Kewaskum and James (Kay) Muench of Batavia; a sister-in-law, Karen McElroy of West Bend, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 8, 2006 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, W8947 Brazelton Drive, Random Lake (town of Scott). Rev. Kurt Ziemann officiated and burial followed in the church cemetery.
Relatives and friends called at the church on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services.
