Lester L. Koenig, age 93, of the Town of Barton, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday June 2, 2014.
He was born on March 24, 1921 in Barton to the late Benjamin and Maude (nee Balser) Koenig, and was united in marriage to Esther Crass on April 18, 1942 at St. Martins United Church of Christ in Fillmore.
Lester served in the U.S. Army during WW II in the Pacific Theater. After returning to West Bend he became employed at the West Bend Company for 37 years retiring in 1983.
Lester is survived by his 6 children; 24 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister.
Abiding by Lester's wishes there will be no public services.
His children would like to thank Horizon Hospice, and all the caring family and friends who supported them through these final days.
