Linda M. "Lynn" Voeks, nee Benz, age 99, of West Bend, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2013 at Cedar Community in West Bend.
She was born on September 10, 1913 in Milwaukee to the late William and Anna (nee Boeck) Benz. She graduated from Riverside High School in Milwaukee in the class of 1932. On June 2, 1938 she was united in marriage to Carl M. Reichelt in Milwaukee. Carl preceded her in death on August 18, 1942. On April 25, 1959, Lynn was united in marriage to Victor Voeks in Sarasota, FL. Victor preceded her in death on August 11, 1982.
Lynn worked at the Milwaukee Public Library for 12 years, Adjutant General Office in Madison, Milwaukee County Juvenile Court, Citizen's Bank in Sarasota, FL, and as a secretary for the Milwaukee County Court System.
She is survived by good friends, John Murphy of West Bend and David (Mary) Johnson of Glenview, IL.
Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, both her husbands, two sisters, Evelyn Williams and Caroline Benz; and one brother, William Benz.
A funeral service in remembrance of Lynn will be held on Tuesday, January 15th at 4:00 p.m. at the Myrhum - Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery, Waubeka on Wednesday, January 16th at 10:30 a.m.
