Lorraine Fick, (nee Ern) of Hartford, formerly of West Bend, passed away Wednesday April 23, 2014 at the Gardens of Hartford.
She was born on November 16, 1919 in Milwaukee to the late Oscar and Elsie (nee Marquardt) Ern and was united in marriage to Arthur Fick on June 7, 1946 in Milwaukee. Together they resided in Milwaukee until Arthur’s death in 1987. She then moved to West Bend to be closer to her son and daughter –in-law, Ron and Doris Fick. In 2012 Lorraine moved to the Gardens of Hartford.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Doris Fick of West Bend; two grandsons, Shawn (Jennifer) Fick of Green Bay, and Bryan (Kerry) Fick of Erin; three great grandchildren, Morgan, Hannah, and Abbey; a brother, Leroy Ern of Milwaukee; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Arthur; Son, Ronald; two sisters, Mildred Hanson, and Carol Ern; along with a brother, Milton Ern.
Funeral services in remembrance of Lorraine will be held on Saturday April 26th at 4:30 pm at the Myrhum ~ Patten Funeral Home (1315 W. Washington St.) West Bend. Pastor Bill Scheurman will officiate. Visitation will be Saturday at the funeral home from 3:00 pm until the time of service. Burial will be in Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield. Memorials to the charity of your choice are appreciated by the family.
