Louis H. Brazee

Louis H. Brazee, 89, of Lomira, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, December 31, 2008, at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac.


He was born on April 27, 1919, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the son of the late Louis F. and Arvella (Babcock) Brazee. Louis was the beloved husband of the late Helen and Henrietta.


Louis served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II, and he was employed by A.O. Smith Corporation in Milwaukee for many years.

Survivors include four children, David (Pam) Brazee, Dean (Gail) Brazee, Karen Brazee and Joy (Steve) Aleksich; 16 grandchildren, 17great-grandchildren, a sister, other relatives and friends. Louis was a special uncle to the Fischer family.


Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service for Louis was held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2009, at Wisconsin Memorial Park Chapel of the Chimes, 13235 W. Capitol Drive in Brookfield, where the family received visitors from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services.

Entombment of his cremains was private.
