Lucille R. Fellenz, 77, of Richfield, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2011, at Kathy Hospice in the town of Polk.
She was born on November 24, 1933, in Campbellsport, the daughter of the late Arnold and Clara (Stern) Butzke. On September 5, 1952, she married Paul Blumer. Paul passed away on December 25, 1990. On January 17, 1976, she was united in marriage to Merlin “John” Fellenz. He preceded her in death on August 24, 1995. On September 4, 2004, Lucille was united in marriage to Dean Karls at Crown of Life Evangelical Lutheran Church in Richfield. Dean preceded Lucille in death on May 18, 2011.
Lucille was a member of Crown of Life Evangelical Lutheran Church in Richfield. She was a legal secretary for several law firms, and was a fashion entrepreneur owning a clothing and shoe store. She enjoyed ballroom dancing, golf and music.
Those Lucille leaves behind to cherish her memory include five children, Rev. Steven (Bonnie) Blumer of Orlando, Florida, Sherry (Randy) Kemp of Theresa, Laurie (Patrick) Clapham of Grafton, Lisa Fellenz of Kewaskum and Kathleen Arndt of Campbellsport; seven grandchildren, Rev. Ben (Carrie) Blumer, Noelle (Don) Weston, Rev. Dustin (Kat) Blumer, Stacie (Paul) Zwick, Nickolas (Laurie) Kemp, Allissa (Eric) Borchardt and Amanda Keller; 11 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Lucille were held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, September 2, 2011, at Crown of Life Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1292 Tally Ho Trail in Richfield (Hubertus). Rev. Michael Helwig officiated and private burial was in Lutheran Memorial Park in Kewaskum.
Relatives and friends called at the church on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services.
