Marcella E. Enderle, 95, of Fond du Lac, formerly of Lomira, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2008, at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home in Fond du Lac.
She was born on September 10, 1913, in Theresa, the daughter of the late George and Sarah (Coulter) Schaumberg, and on September 25, 1932, she was united in marriage to Martin Enderle. Her husband preceded her in death on December 29, 1994.
Marcella was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac, a former member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lomira, a member of the Ladies Aid Society for many years and a longtime member of the WLA Auxiliary.
Survivors include five children, Martin “Marty” (Carole) Enderle of Watertown, Ronald (Jan) Enderle of Chandler, Arizona, Kenneth (Carol) Enderle of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Carol (Fred) Schmidt of Fond du Lac and Gordon (Patricia) Enderle of Rochester Hills, Michigan; a sister, Jeanine (Wilbur) Pamperin of Lomira; a brother-in-law, Al Robson of Hemet, California;14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Marcella was preceded in death by two sisters, Lillian (Lawrence) Wagner and Ruth Robson.
Funeral services for Marcella were held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 21, 2008, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 606 Forest Avenue in Fond du Lac. Rev. Fred Toppe officiated and burial was in St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery in Lomira.
Relatives and friends called at the church on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services.
