Marcella M. Fierke, 71, of Kewaskum, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2013, at Kathy Hospice in the town of Polk.
She was born on September 20, 1941, in Cedarburg, the daughter of the late Edward and Leona (Bruss) Franzen, and on August 17, 1985, she was united in marriage to Vernon Fierke at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum. Vernon preceded Marcella in death on April 12, 1991.
Marcella was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum. She was employed by Regal Ware, Inc. in Kewaskum for 11 years. Marcella enjoyed gardening, puzzles, grilling out, her grandchildren and spending time with her family.
Those Marcella leaves behind to cherish her memory include two children, Jeff (Karen) Paulus of Kewaskum and Kim (Lee) Buslaff of Oakfield; four brothers, Douglas (Dawn) Franzen of Kewaskum, Edward Franzen of West Bend, Donald (Anita) Franzen of Saukville and Henry (Pauline) Franzen of Sheboygan; five sisters, Roxie (Joe) Sterr of Kewaskum, Darlene (Ron) Aupperle of Beechwood, Judy (Dan) Survis of Kewaskum, Pat (Bob) Friedmann of West Bend and Audrey Johnson of Rockford, Illinois; six grandchildren, Jeffrey, Thomas, Hannah, Destiny, Teegan and Adlee, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Marcella was preceded in death by a sister, Bernadine.
In honor of her wishes, Marcella donated her body to medical science. Her family had a time of remembrance when they greeted visitors at the Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum on Sunday, January 27, 2013, from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. Private memorial services were held.
