Marcella M. “Sally” Pade, 84, of Lomira, was called to her Heavenly home on Saturday, March 7, 2009, at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac.
She was born on December 15, 1924, in Fond du Lac county, the daughter of the late Hubert and Eda (Kutz) Schultz. Sally was baptized at St. Luke’s in Oakfield and confirmed at St Paul’s Lutheran Church in Brownsville. She attended Winnebago Lutheran Academy her freshman year and was a graduate of Oakfield High School.
On April 14, 1945, she married the love of her life, Wesley Pade at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Brownsville. Sally and Wesley owned and operated a Wisconsin Century Farm in Lomira from 1938-1984. They received multiple awards for their registered-pure bred Holstein cattle.
Sally was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lomira and the Ladies Aid. She was a very active lady. Sally enjoyed bowling and belonged to the Brownsville Couples and Ladies Leagues. She frequently scored 600s. She played cards several times a week and was Vice President of the Thursday Legion Card Club. She enjoyed weekends at the lake house and sunsets on the water-even though she claimed that her farm house sunsets were the best! She never missed a Brewer or Packer game, enjoyed cooking for her family and a good glass of wine. We all loved her beef tips!

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. John’s Lutheran Church or the Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac are appreciated.
Sally was a shining light in the lives of her family and friends. We will miss her humor, her smile, her love of sunsets, her caring touch and her kindness. She will now watch over us from heaven.
