Margaret G. Dorn, 91, of Kewaskum, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in the town of Polk.
She was born on March 8, 1921, in Amery, the daughter of the late Hamer and Bessie (Balser) Cook, and on October 6, 1945, she was united in marriage to Fred A. Dorn at St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kewaskum. Fred preceded Margaret in death on June 4, 2002.
Margaret was employed by Regal Ware Inc. in Kewaskum and was a member of the 25-Year Club. She was a long-time member of St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kewaskum and the Ladies Aid.
Those Margaret leaves behind to cherish her memory include three children, James (Patricia) Dorn of Kewaskum, Glen Dorn and Kathy (Steve) Stern both of St. Michaels; two brothers, Lloyd (Katie) Cook of Kewaskum and Floyd Cook of Sebring, Florida; ten grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Margaret was preceded in death by a son, Jeffery; four brothers, Ed, Les, Lenard and Helmer Cook and two sisters, Vi Koenings and Ruby Troedel.
Funeral services for Margaret were held at noon on Thursday, July 19, 2012, at the Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum. Rev. Timothy Henning officiated and burial followed the service in Lutheran Memorial Park in Kewaskum.
Relatives and friends called at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
