Margaret Jaeger (Nee Held), age 84, of West Bend, passed away Friday, January 9, 2009 at River Way Place in West Bend.
She was born on July 22, 1924 to the late Alfred G. and Mathilda (Nee Ziegler) Held and graduated from West Bend High School in the class of 1941.
On January 4, 1944, Margaret was united in marriage to Leo Jaeger. Together they owned and operated Lee Jaeger Road Construction Company of West Bend, where she proudly did the bookkeeping. She was blessed to be able to work along side her husband and was extremely proud of her family. Upon retirement, they moved to Phoenix, AZ, but returned to West Bend in 2006.
She is survived by her husband, Leo; three children, Linda (Hermann) Noerr of Rothenburg ODT Germany, Pamela (Jon) Sanfilippo of Slinger, and Bonnie Compton of Phoenix, AZ; 13 grandchildren, Jennifer (Bill) Lee, Jill (Mike) Quinn, Dawn (Art) Meyer, Mandy Zitkovich, Kerri (Robert) Loduha, Pieter Noerr, Jamie (Bryan) Johnson, David Noerr, Jessica Sanfilippo, Jennifer Sanfilippo, Laurie Desmond, Lindsay Desmond, and Kacie Compton; 14 great-grandchildren, Brianna Quinn, Christopher Quinn, Kyndel Lee, Autumn Lee, Antonio Meyer, Alea Meyer, Tre Meyer, Brianna Johnson, Dakota Johnson, Joshua Zitkovich, Paige Zitkovich, Ethan Loduha, Naomi, Loduha, and Isabella Loduha; one daughter-in-law, Darlene Jaeger; one sister, Donna (David) Blanke, one brother-in-law, Raymond Griesemer, many other relatives and dear friends.
Margaret is preceded in death by her son, Jody Michael; her parents; her brother Fritz and her two sisters, Ruth and Dorothea.
A Memorial Service in honor of Margaret will be held Friday, January 16th at 2:00 p.m. at the Myrhum ~ Patten Funeral Home (1315 W. Washington Street - West Bend). Rev. Jeff Haines will officiate. Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. A spring burial at Holy Angeles Cemetery is planned. Memorials to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Cancer Society are appreciated.
