Marguerite L. Krebsbach (nee Westphal), 85, of Brownsville passed away on Wednesday August 29, 2018 at Prairie Ridge Assisted Living in Waupun.
She was born on November 17, 1932 in Brownsville, the daughter of Harold and Irene (Ewerdt) Westphal. On October 21, 1953 she was united in marriage to Walter Krebsbach in the Town of Byron. Marguerite attended St. Paul’s Lutheran School in Brownsville and graduated from Winnebago Lutheran Academy in Fond du Lac. She loved traveling the world, her flower beds, crafting and reading, and was a librarian for many years at the Brownsville Public Library. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Brownsville.
She leaves behind her son, David Krebsbach of Frisco, TX, her daughter, Laure (Thomas) Larson of Fox Lake; three grandchildren, Brian (Tausha) Krebsbach of Frisco, TX, Natalie (Brandon) Krebsbach McPhearson of Des Moines, IA, April Krebsbach of Richardson, TX; seven great grandchildren, Hannah, Brennan, and Colton Krebsbach, Brayden, Camden, Holden, and Eden McPhearson; two sisters, Janice (Gerald) Ernst of Plover and Sylvia (Lyle) Hannahs of Huntsville, TX; a brother, Dennis Westphal of Germantown; a sister-in-law, Gladys Krebsbach of Sheboygan Falls; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers, Ronald and Alan Westphal.
A funeral service in remembrance of Marguerite will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 605 Highland Ave., Brownsville. Burial will follow at St. Paul’s Cemetery.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service.
