Marian B. Ours, 83, of North Fond du Lac, passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2010, at the Fond du Lac County Health Care Center in Fond du Lac.
She was born on August 28, 1926, in Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Gustav and Augusta (Albrect) Knoelke, and she married Wallace Tolonen. On October 26, 1974, she was united in marriage to Robert Ours at St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kewaskum. Robert preceded Marian in death on June 2, 1992.
Marian was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in North Fond du Lac and a former member of St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kewaskum.
Those Marian leaves behind to cherish her memory include seven children, Eileen (Steve) Field of Divide, Colorado, Judy Gundrum of West Bend, Wayne (Nancy) Tolonen of Martin, Tennessee, Nancy Tolonen of Fond du Lac, David (Jane) Tolonen of Allenton, JoAnne Tolonen of Fond du Lac and Susan Tolonen (Dr. Daniel Lopez-Tan) of Wauwatosa; 17 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Marian was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Lynn Tolonen and a brother, Harry Knoelke.
Funeral services for Marian were held at noon on Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1010 Adams Avenue in North Fond du Lac. Pastor Thomas Behnke and Pastor Michael Kampman officiated and burial was in Lutheran Memorial Park in Kewaskum.
Relatives and friends called on Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum and at the church on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services.
