Marian H. Belger, 79, of Boltonville, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2014, at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital in Wauwatosa.
She was born on May 13, 1935, in Kewaskum, the daughter of the late Roman and Gertrude (Ramel) Kral, and on June 28, 1958, she was united in marriage to Elmer Belger at St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kewaskum.
Marian was a life-long member of St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kewaskum, was a member of the Boltonville Fire Department Auxiliary and a 4-H leader. She enjoyed cooking and canning and two of her favorite pastimes were crocheting and knitting.
Those Marian leaves behind to cherish her memory include her loving husband of nearly 56 years, Elmer; four children, Lynn (Mark) Peters of West Bend, Diane (Scott) Eschenbacher of Boltonville, Kim Belger of Kewaskum and Kevin (Kelly) Belger of Boltonville; a sister, Audrey (Raymond) Krueger of Kewaskum; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Bocher of West Bend, 12 grandchildren, two step grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Marian was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Fritz (Morla) Belger and Edward Bocher.
Funeral services for Marian were held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kewaskum. Rev. Timothy Henning officiated and cremation followed the traditional service. Burial of her cremains will be at a later date.
The Belger family greeted relatives and friends at the church on Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of services.
Memorials to the Hoenecke Book Fund are appreciated.
