Marie A. Johannsen, nee Ludwig, age 64, of Theresa, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac.
Marie was born on August 11, 1947 in Milwaukee to Ira and Carmen (nee Radey) Ludwig. On April 8, 1966, she was united in marriage to Danny Johannsen in Waukegan, IL.
Marie worked for Harley-Davidson as an assembler.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, Danny Johannsen; her four children and best friends, Denise Adams, Daniel (Tammy) Johannsen, Andrew Johannsen, and Angela Johannsen; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Carmen Ludwig; three brothers, Ira Ludwig, Joseph (Gerilyn) Ludwig, and David (Cindy) Ludwig; other relatives and friends.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Theresa Limone.
A memorial service in remembrance of Marie will be held on Friday, June 8th at 11:00 a.m. at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington Street, West Bend. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
